Reminders of Driver Safety

Here at Bauer Porsche Repair we are absolutely concerned with driver and passenger safety.   Things that you can do include making sure first to always wear seat belts.  Accident statistics show nationwide that wearing seat belt save lives because they keep you and your occupants within the confines of your car.

We also stress to follow all road rules, such as not exceeding the posted speed limit, watch out for pedestrians and bicyclists, plus animals that might want to challenge beaming headlights.   Always signal your intention when passing any vehicle but only do so safely.    Make full stops at stop signs and check both ways before entering into any intersection.

One of the best ways you can keep insurance low plus keep your car free of dents is negotiate all car maneuvers in a way to allow plenty of room around you and your Porsche.   Slowing down and giving yourself a bit of time will allow you to adjust to the conditions around you.

Driving while intoxicated is exceedingly not tolerated.  Therefore, make a self-rule that if you have anything to drink, simply wait the designated time before getting behind the wheel.   The same goes with using cell phones and texting while driving, also not tolerated.

Rainy season or not, check your automobile constantly.  One of the cheapest things you can do to your car is most often ignored by most drivers.  Check the for correct air-pressure in your car at all times.    Also, if you may notice, due to bad storms expanding and contracting road surfaces, pot holes are appearing everywhere.  Wheel and tire damage is on a major increase, while car insurance companies are having to take the brunt of extending a never ending policy.   AAA is a fantastic source of additional information should you be a member.
