The Beijing Auto Show is about to end. It may be the most disappointing of the world's large gatherings of car executives and their new products this year. One of the reasons the show has not caused a stir is that sales of cars and light trucks have tailed off in China. It is no longer considered a market which will pull global manufacturers away from the slump in Europe--one which could last several years.

SAN FRANCISCO (WWJ) - BMW North America has probably had to deal with plenty of  unusual lawsuits, but one filed last week may be a first -- a California man says the seat on his motorcycle has given him an erection he just can't shake.

Henry Wolf of California is suing BMW America and aftermarket seatmaker Corbin-Pacific claiming his issue began after a four-hour ride on his 1993 BMW motorcycle, with a ridge like seat.

The Land Rover, a British-made all-terrain vehicle that will earn a reputation for its use in exotic locales, debuts at an auto show in Amsterdam on April 30, 1948.

I've driven one of these. Very rough ride but a very tough car. Beats walking or camels.

The Porsche 911 Carrera is the iconic sports car.  In over fifty years of production, it has changed relatively little.  The shape and looks haven’t changed much, it’s always had a 2+2 seating arrangement, and it’s always had a flat six hanging out behind the rear axle.  Now the issue with such an iconic car, is what do you do when you come out with a new model?

What have I been doing lately, getting stuck into a 630+ piece Mega Bloks set of one of my favourite cars, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Yes I am a big kid inside, and sometimes on the outside, but it took me 3 nights to build and I really enjoyed putting it together. Here are some progress shots and the finished product.

Maybe it might be interesting to see into the future 2050 Auto Show. These other two cars are just dwarfed by the GT.
